Just to clarify, a COPR is just that. A confirmation of permanent residency. It is a document that gives you the right to enter Canada, which can expire. Your process is not complete until you have landed and been officially entered into the Canadian system as a LANDED immigrant. Remember, as an Outland applicant, you cannot apply for your social insurance number, health card, etc until you have completed the landing process and been officially entered into the system. (Which initiates the sending of your PR card, as well.)
At any point BEFORE you’ve landed a COPR can be cancelled, so in theory a spouse should have the ability to cancel if they approach IRCC with any concerns, which is why it’s important to find out if this can happen. I haven’t been able to find a solid answer on this.
But general rule of thumb:
You are not ‘safe’ until you land.
I got an email from VFS on Wednesday that my passport has been received from IRCC office and is being dispatched to me at my address...how long does it take to receive the passport after that email?
1 day
If her husband is out of contact by her then it looks serious situation....that’s why her husband was not interested to receive her at Toronto airport giving her suggestion to arrive Ottawa alone....it’s very very sad news if it’s true
Well I'd say it's not wise to judge without knowing the actual situation.. let's just hope everything is fine at her end
Guys please HELP ME!!!...I am soo scared now....
I submitted my ADR on webform an emailed them too 3 days ago....my total attachments are less then 3mb but so far i have not received anytype of confirmation from LVO??is me or LVO have not sent anyone any type of confirmation??
Please help me? I am really worried....is this normal that no confirmation yet??
Yeah it's normal..if you uploaded it on your online account you will not receive any confirmation
The sponsor makes a request in writing to the Case Processing Centre (CPC)
In case the sponsor makes the request to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville (CPC-V) and the authorities have already made and entered the final decision in the Field Operations Support System (FOSS)
In case the sponsor makes the request to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (CPC-M) and the authorities have issued the visa
Will need to:
Verify that the authorities have already made the final decision or issued the visa and,
Inform the sponsor that they cannot withdraw the undertaking at this stage

I agree 100% that this particular case should not be judged until we have the facts, including an official response from IRCC and a solid answer on whether the email she received informing her of the cancellation is credible and legitimate.
That being said, I will only make one comment. Having followed her case for a long time due to the fact that she was very open about it, the one thing that struck me as odd during the whole long process
was how concerned and anxious she was over her case (and rightfully so) while based off the tidbits she gave us, her husband seemed almost indifferent over the whole thing. Again, that is only based off the tidbits we heard, and until she can contact her husband it’s only speculation. Innocent until proven guilty.

According to herself saying that her husband is out of contact since she got email from LVO ...such a big issue she is facing and her husband vanished..that is clear evidence, he withdraw undertaking....our prayers for sister Duaa Ali in this situation...if it is true then it’s terrible news...not fair with her

My only concern is if he withdrawal his undertaking so why now ?? after getting stamped visa ?? Like he could withdrawal anytime during the process.. he paid fees and everything and she booked flight and later on this.. the timing is not making any sense or logical to withdrawal at this point. I wish she sought it out everything till now..
I couldn’t sleep this night thinking of what happened to duaa Ali, guys imagine we all are being sponsored by someone and it could have been any one of us too. Alas it’s terrible to think of. And I talked to duaa the email she sent me is seems to have been made through phishing. There is no UCI number and it looked so odd to me even it’s came from the lvo(although this email address can be made through fake applications). As to my knowledge her husband can only withdraw her application base on the signed undertaking which he signed during the application submission process. But that’s only when the decision on her application has not been made yet, once decision is made IRCC doesn’t consider anything unless and until its extravagantly dangerous and can harm someone’s life and injured someone.
And the best suggestion to my sister DUAA ALI she should attempt to fly and land. IA she would be fine.
If she had an GCKEY ACCOUNT it would be just sign in there and see her document validation. If it’s valid she is good to go

If you check your sponsor approval letter. It will be stated at bottom that your file is being transferred to LVO. Could you verify?
No, it just says:
Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of <spouse> and family (if applicable).
We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.
No mention of London. Maybe the wording changed for newer applications?

I am totally agreed with that.. In canada we have so many support programs for those people who came in this country and later on their spouses never showed up.. so the the immigration new comer and welcome centre will provide the basic commodities to those people.

i am also in her favor...but i would inform one thing, even newly landed immigrant can be refused to stay in Canada if her/his sponsor withdraw undertaking after contacting ircc because principal applicant is bonded with the undertaking of sponsor for some years (3 years or ?)..i have seen here peoples going to courts to fight deport orders issued by ircc...

one thing more, once that undertaking period is expired then principal person is free even sponsor is angery or not willing to live with her/him, i have seen here then peoples get divorce and live with big big freedom

Yes, because all that happens after the principal applicant has landed and is officially entered into the system. You would need a lot of evidence, likely a lawyer, etc to convince IRCC of false claims at the point. Like you stated, that’s simply a marriage breakdown, which isn’t their problem.
For those reading, the issue here is that the principal applicant hasn’t LANDED yet. The COPR is still pending until it’s fulfilled.
I suspect from what others are saying, though, the email may be a scam.
