Got a question for fellow iranians,
Ankara received our file since March 2020 without biometrics and they havent requested it yet. So im guessing thats the first thing they would ask us to do. Any of you guys have some suggestions on which country/city might be the best option to do biometrics since we can't do that in iran ? I dont even know if its possible to travel due to the situation we're at right now.

My wife did it back in Jan 2020, from Istanbul Turkey. UAE or Turkey are the easiest options for Iranians. Rest ofcourse you can have it from any country which has VFS

I got my PPR email today
My timeline;
The application kit was received at the Canadian visa office in Ankara, Turkey on May 30, 2019.
Pre-arrival letter on June 23, 2020.
The medical examination results are on file and valid until June 24, 2021.( 1 year extended)
Decision made on Oct 19,2020
E mail for pasaport request on Dec 14, 2020
I guess it is true that it is approximately 2 months after DM.

And she got her passport today at home and my son and I are still under treatment. Is this normal?
How long is the normal period because the mother took two weeks under treatment

Thanks for sharing your great information with me. Ok, so I’m basically couple weeks behind you guys then, because I also sent my passport with Nilgam on September, they issued my visitor visa and sent it back to the Anakara VAC and we asked the VAC to send the passport to the embassy again right away for issuing the PR since I got the PPR for the PR at the same time and it's been under processing since October 26th. Hopefully we all get a good news soon, to me they shouldn’t hold your passport so long because you might need it in case if you want to travel somewhere-else. Please keep me posted if you get any new updates and I’ll do the same. Thanks

My husband just sent his with "iran/ankara' but he has not received a tracking number. How can i request this? Anyone know how long it will take for them to process it?

So my husband sent is passport to Ankara and got an SMS on Saturday saying that his passport was 'at the embassy' however we have no tracking number. Does this mean they haven't started processing it yet? Anyone know how long it will take to get it back to him for the PR visa?
