Is it wrong for me to look for a job in my home country while waiting for IRCC to make a decision because i do not know when that will be,it could take months.

My timeline is:
Application: 14 October
Bio request: 15 October
Bio submitted: 28 October
Bio "completed" status:28 October
Eligibilty: Your application is in process.We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Background check: We are processing your background check
final Decision: Your application is in progress

My program starts in January 2021, my DLI is covid-approved since October.
