Do you have IRCC contact number? I tried few times and had to wait for more than a hour. Its tiring..

I was so curious about my application after passed 6 months timeline so I decide to make a call. Luckily, I met a very nice agent and felt a little bit relief even my application hasn't been updated, she explained me everything:
- Eligibility: Passed. I asked her it was recommended passed in September and now is passed. She said it is passed now instead so I hope it is final passed.
- Security: Not-Started
- Criminality: In-Progress. I also asked her about my Biometric which showed completed in Oct. She explained it has 2 stages, they uploaded my old biometric on my application but IRCC officer hasn't touched it yet. Thus it's in progress.

in my case, i am the principal applicant (inland) and dependent (husband and 5yr old child) outland.

Dont worry there are so many of us. I am in same boat. Last time I called IRCC, the agent told me that candidates with more dependents are taking longer to be processed. I also have 3 dependents. My file is still untouched by officer. My primary VO is Sydney and Secondary is Ottawa. God knows how long we need to wait. Timeline in signature
