Pls I need advice here. Is settlement plan needed when submitting application? Ok it's not on the check list but will it make sense adding one?
Has anyone bn asked to provide one?

There isn't a format for all. I can see that you won't mind, but those are very personal figures. So I'd say just write up your own cost estimate (one-off start up costs, ongoing expenditures etc.) according to your NOC, intended occupation, destination and so on.

Also, I'd like to reiterate that not everyone here is a 'brother'.

We haven't been asked for POF at any point yet. (But we are supposed to have it ready upon landing... I think.)

We got the notification that we passed the medicals. Getting a bit excited but still nervous as it isn’t a COPR.. does anyone know how long it will take until we know anything more?

Thank you. We submitted police certificates with our application back in Sep 2019. Technically they should have expired by now - Aug 2020x Do you think they’ll ask ha

They see if you are self-sustainable and maybe successful, and if you have been self-employed, what is your financial strength is - with your assets / debts etc. I feel its quite important as they asked me for additional documents related to property valuations etc.

Hi, have you appointed any immigration lawyer? Any business plan you submitted at the time of your application?

Immigration lawyers and consultants are not that great /helpful in this stream. They want quick turnovers - express entry etc.
I hired one from Canada, a lawyer (not consultant) and it was a nightmare, so I paid them first payment and fired them.

More information could be found by online research. So unless your application has been rejected or there is a legal issue - lawyers are not needed.

I need advice pls on POF. If your occupation is the type that doesn't need funds to establish such as graphic designer, will the funds stated by IRCC be enough to show as POF?
