I am a juke 17,2019 Applicant. I feel like i am in the worst scenario here. I have the application AOR but nothing else. It is in application received status for forever. My Dad passed away Jan 2020 . I send the updated paperwork to get my mom to be main applicant. Nothing there is no update. GCMS notes show no progress either. What is it taking so long. I see people getting biometrics, pcc, decision made. What is with my file.. anyone else in the same boat ?
When can we expect something is there a deadline or somewhere I can request them to at least assign an officer. As Corona is not going anywhere and now when they have PGP2020 they are creating backlog for themselves.

Don't worry you're not alone! I'm May 9 applicant and received my sponsorship approval only couple of weeks ago. No PCC/Medical/etc yet.

IRCC is very much back logged (due to Covid-19 situation) as my friend called them few days back asking for the status update. They said that there current priority is to get the students and spouses in Canada and there are few people working on PGP cases. I am sure that you will soon see an update either on ECAS or MyCIC. By the way, have you see any ghost update on MyCIC?

You can book appointment at service canada for your mom. For change of address if your Mom is primary applicant, you can do it but if your father is primary applicant then you can't.

If you see on ecas, it always shows primary applicant name and address. And there is an option to update the address. So whenever your father comes to Canada, you can update the local address.

When was your medical pass date and decision made date?

First Medical done Feb 8, 2020 then followup medical passed Sept 11, 2020.
Passport request and decision made November 23, 2020

My application is in queue for final review and does anyone know, how long it takes to get a decision made at this stage.
