we just recived passport request from NDVO last night which nov 20,2020.decision was made last week.
but my parents are in canada they mentioned to send passports in ottawa, are they sending signed landing papers ?or do we have to cross border or book appointment with service canada?

Just have to send the COPR letter + photos to get a pr card

but how do you go get provinial health insurance and SIN card?before received a PR card?
normally we get wehn we have signed landing paper.

Yes, the letter states that parents can apply for all services, it’s a proof of status in Canada till they obtain PR card and is valid for 1 year.

Even I got PPR RIGHT NOW from NDVO. Do you have to send ppt to CPC Ottawa or vfs Delhi?????

If your parents are in Canada you can send passport to Ottawa. It is given in the last section of PPR.

Office was Mexico. 3 weeks from DM2 to get this call.

I did not book an appointment. I was called to do virtual landing for my mom. It was done over the phone.

I did not submit the passport. My mom is in Canada and she was made PR without being given an immigrant visa. She only got COPR through email and mycic.

so when they can apply for provinically funder health insurance .?
normally you can apply when you have landing paper signed.are they sending landing paper with immigrant visa on passport?

I have emailed the visa office and am waiting for response. I didn't specifically ask for electronic copy but would be great if that's an option. I have a photo of the COPR which was taken in Turkey before the package was mailed to Iran but I'm not sure if that helps. Any thoughts?

As for timeline, it was a bit unusual. The dates on the tracker as accurate though. After submitting medical, they requested PCC and additional documents but while those were still in the mail (based on postal tracking) they also asked for the passport which we couldn't send due to COVID and then the VAC was closed and we were only able to send the passport end of July. The Decision Made was not updated until the visa was issued and passport was on it's way back. Hope this clarifies.

if you have a picture of the COPR, i would call canadian border services (or even better if you email them to have it in writing) and ask.
if the picture is legible, just print it.
