Quick question and if anyone has time to respond to it that would be much appreciated: if one has a valid job offer and uses its points, will the employer wait however long it takes for the express entry application to finalize? How does this having a job offer work for someone who is *not* in Canada and hoping to apply to the EE system? Are there any employers who is willing to wait that long for the applicant to finally have her/his PR card ready? Thanks in advance.

I think if you apply with a job offer you take a different path, meaning your processing time is relatively faster as you will be applying for work Visa unlike immigration PR process you should be able to travel and work once your application and Job offer are validated (logically if not as same as, maybe faster than, a vistor visa timeline), . Still my answer is just knowledge not experience i advice you you directly send this question to the concerned immigration office in your potential province.
Please advise do you have ajob offer ? And for self knowledge how do i know it is acceptable to immigration office ? I mean what are the attributes please do i just communicate with an employer and obtain a job offer letter and afterwards submit this letter or are there some governmental criteria?
I have a problem. I have created my express entry profile and when I login it then is shows log in as....my name................ here its showing wrong spelling of my name, but in my profile summary and inside my express entry profile, it's showing the right spelling of my name. I have received ITA where it's showing the right spelling of name as. I wonder how it happened. it could be a typo of myself and I also checked everywhere I could not find where I have given the wrong spelling.
I tried to correct it but could not find any option to correct it.
What can I do now?
Thank you very much to everyone for the help in advance.
I know its the wrong thread but i need an urgent answer, please help. My case is kinda peculiar and critical. I need informed and experienced information, please.
I have a one year continuous work experience - February 2019-February 2020 after university education (NOC 4031 Secondary school teacher). That's basic and solid.
However, I want to claim three years work experience through the different jobs I did while studying, during strike actions, forced lockdowns and breaks.
For instance, I worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant (NOC 1242) or Paralegal all through my stay in school whenever there was any break. So here and there, I have 7 months, 6 months, 6 months (all same firm) 3 months (another law firm, same NOC duties). Am I good to go claiming these?
Expert opinions pls, and I am set to enter the pool.

Inland / abroad experience while studying does not count for canadian experience class but does count for FSW
experience count if it complies with the rules (fulltime, paid, and can be prooved etc..).
For example eventhough i counted my recent last 2 years while studying MBA but could not add the very first two while studying BA simply they ask you when you as an applicant were cleared to practice your occupation referring to graduation requirements
Check out below link ( note the difference between FSW and Canadian experience classes)

When does the typical express entry draw happen? Is it on Monday or Wednesday? I think the upcoming draw is next week. I will not be able to submit my profile before Monday night (Nov 16th) so I wanted to know whether I will be too late to be considered for the upcoming draw? Please let me know

Okay Thanks. I think this must have been answered multiple times here but can anyone help on the below questions
I am currently the secondary applicant with 6 years of work experience (all non-Canadian work experience)
In the pre-ITA stage do I need to enter my work experience? Many people have told me that I can leave the work experience section blank pre-ITA and once I get an ITA I can enter everything in the personal history section since I am not getting any points for this. I am a bit uncomfortable doing this since that would mean I am telling the Canada government that I have ZERO work experience in pre-ITA stage. Has anyone successfully got an approval with this strategy
My wife is the Primary applicant. She has a PhD. from USA and a Bachelors degree from India.
We got the WES evaluation done only for the PhD. since we were told that if highest degree was from USA you don't need to get the WES evaluation done for the Indian degrees. In the pre-ITA form should we enter her educational credentials for the Bachelors in India as well? In post ITA stage it will ask us for WES documents which we will not have. Many have suggested to enter only PhD. in pre-ITA stage and put the Bachelors degree in personal history section. Has anyone successfully followed this strategy?
She has 6 years of work experience across 2 companies, one with 5 years and the other with 1 year. But under EE you will get points for maximum only 3 years of work experience. We have a solid reference letter for the 5 years of work experience. My question is that in the pre-ITA form should we declare all 6 years or should we declare only 5 years as work experience and post ITA put the remaining 1 year in personal history?
Please let me know if anyone has faced the above situations and successfully followed a strategy and gotten an approval. Multiple previous posts on this portal have answered this question but it is a bit confusing as people say we can easily put the above details in the personal history post-ITA.

Can anyone indicate how long it takes to receive the first PR Card after receipt of the COPR letter and providing the necessary photograph. I had received the COPR letter on 10th September 2020.
Hi guys, my spouse and I are applying for Express entry. She is the "main applicant" (she resides outside Canada) while I am the "secondary applicant" (I reside in Canada). We both submitted Police certificates from our home countries but I didn't submit a police certificate (Finger prints) from Canada because I thought that since I already live in Canada, they will not be needing it. So I only submitted the basic police certification from London ontario city (without any finger prints). I was wondering if this can lead to a rejection? some of my friends didn't submit it and their express entry application got approved and others waited until the officer requested the finger prints. What do you suggest in this case? Should I wait for the officer to request them or there might be a chance my Express entry application will be rejected? Thank you.
Hi guys, my spouse wants to do post graduation from canada in dentistry. I have an experience of 5 years in software engineering and i'm willing to migrate .Could you please suggest me which program is apt for us to get into canada so that she can study and i can look for jobs over there.
Thanks.
POST ITA we have to enlist where all we have lived in past 10 years
Suppose lived in one city for 5 years but at multiple addresses as I was a tenant, do I give the addresses of all the apartments? or just one or two addresses is fine since city is same
How closely is this checked ?

I think just make sure it does not contradict with other information on other forms you provided such as education, travel or maybe marriage for example declared living in a city and provided marriage proof in another city at the same date! Or your study happened during a time you was away or travelling just avoid contradictory facts or just provide the real facts to be at the safe side.
My point is it could save you to validate other information without your notice
