To be honest I don't feel too good about this. I feel this gives them an excuse to delay our files even further. How hard is it to give out the permanent file numbers? Ughhhh

True, because i have my XEP number since the beginning of this year but AOR yet

A temporary number, which means that your case is registered in the system but needs to be assigned to one agent to be processing. When your case will be assigned to an agent you will receive the AOR.

I sent my file in June 2020. Everyone who applied so far should get it this week.

The Canada USA borders closure has been extended seven time but could be open on saturday 21. It will be a big event for us. We hope that! We really need the travel exemption to be applied!

Xep is just a placebo which gives temporary happiness but no cure.
I have read people going Gaga over it in other forum. There should be an assurance for quick processing - AOR with a fast track process respecting current timeline.

LOL yeah I know. A lot of us Post-July 2019 suckers got the email with the XEP number (which I've had since summer 2020). It is just IRCC trying to calm the outrage while they try to figure out whatever fight they're having with the CAQA govt

I think it is AOR because it mentioned about my UCI number
