i wasn't active here can please anyone tell me how long did take for people to get ppr here after pre arrival letter?

It depends! I think security checks starts after pre-arrival which London has no control over. And it's different for everyone especially people with so much travel history or who lived aboard for work.

thankfully i don't have any travel history......i think they check each and everything before sending you pre arrival letter...okay i have a question....just imagine if they send a person pre arrival letter and after that when they check security checks or whatever it is, what if there's a problem? it doesn't make any sense to me...i hope if someone tell me accurate details about my question then it will definitely make sense but right now i am confused

lol don't worry dear.....IRCC have thousands cases in queue they wont stuck to our cases which are already pending because of covid...i think they are now trying their best to approve cases as much as possible...i hope it won't take another 6 months or a whole year to get us PPR.....

pre-arrival is only relationship eligibility approval.

Security check is way different as it's only done on the applicant.

DW if you didn't serve the army or have travel history, yours won't take long.

What if spouse applied several country but got rejected ?

The spouse already got approval before LVO office, and security check is only for Principal Applicant not spouse.

Yea the principal applicant is coming to Canada so if he/she applied to other countries and got denied that might be the reason as to why security check is taking long because the officer will check why they got rejected from other countries and when they applied
