Update: Heard back from the Embassy and they approved the request for extension to submit expiring passport. They also mentioned the validity of the visa that will be issued (which is 60 days from the expiry date of the expiring passport that was originally submitted with the PR application).

We got COPR today! The passport and photos ended up going to the Hong Kong visa office but we finally got the update in GCKey today.

Congrats! You need to schedule for Pdos. Then pwede ka ng magbook ng ticket mo.

Got DM on ECAS but no date, no details when opened.

No update on GcKey.

Last thing on GCKey was a medical update and then an email was sent to disregard.

Got pre-arrival last February but obviously nothing since.

Anyone else similar status?

They’ve only given 5 days to get the paperwork in, and only until early February to land in Canada so everything is very rushed now.

Does anyone know what is required for an unaccompanied minor to get out of the Philippines? The minor is 16 so not too young.

DSWD will be your best source of info, will probably require authorization from them. Also check with the airline to see their requirements.

Thank you. We’re in Ottawa so were able to make an appointment at the embassy to do all the SPA and affidavits required.

I thought we would have the typical year to land but I guess not.

So finally, after long months of waiting we got an update. IRCC still need more infor from us and here it is:
