Hey guys processing time is increased to 26 months now .... endless journey. Covid seems not ending anytime soon so it means processing time is gonna keep increasing.. but why only QSW PROCESSING TIME increasing ? It’s really endless.
This is really frustrating.... indeed such a dull journey that seems endless.
It's not recommended, it's risk you are going to take, if Medicals are expired before your file is handled then you will have to do one more time. in my case, i am sure my file is handled in this year, so i did in july.
Most of Medical clinics are refusing to do upfront Medical tests because it is against the guidelines they have for QSWP.
In 2018 October I went for up front medical test and was refused. I was told it was a recent change (that time) and that now they require the document from immigration which we get along with our MR... I was told they changed it because people were misusing the upfront medical (god knows what that means)..
Hello, I applied PR in April 2020 after receiving CSQ(22 months). Now with processing time around 26 months, I expect to receive PR by 2023. should I decide to move to different province and apply Canadian Experience class under express entry. What do you think are pros and cons with it?

If you have already applied for federal, it will be difficult to prove your intention to reside outside Quebec in Express Entry. If I were you, I would wait. Who knows maybe the processing times get better once this pandemic is over.

Applied in March 2020 and today I was able to get the XEP. This number definitely doesn't help, but it does give some relief that the file is in the system waiting to be verified for completeness (which God knows when will be done).
House, need some advise please
I recently sent my PR docs to NS office & looks like I missed to submit the 'certified true copy' of the translated docs like birth certs, marriage cert. What options do i have now? Do i need to send them again as a seperate consignment with certified true copies, is that acceptable? Are there chances they could return the application because of this?

For sure they will return them. What to do? I would send another package complete right away because if you wait for them to open your package, check that is incomplete, and return it back it could be a long time.

How did you get it? By phone or web form?

Can we not send only the missing docs? because for some of the docs like police cert, translated docs, i just had a single original copy

I am not an expert but I think this is not possible. Any incomplete application they will return it. It is a complicated case . Maybe somebody else in this forum can have another opinion or more information from a similar case or by own experience.

got it.
not sure if i can call it as incomeplete. coz the documents have been submitted it is just the 'notary' seal that is missing for a couple of translated docs. But, all the relevant information are also in English on those docs, except a couple of seal in native lanugage.
Anybody else that have experinced something similar, please share your thoughts
Can someone please help me with CIC # ?
I tried +16139446788, but if i choose PR option , IVR doesn't mention files numbers that start with 'A' to key-in. Isn't the same number we see in CSQ that starts with A000000?
