I am confused. Is the priority for CSQ level or Federal PR level?
Federal
It seems like sending an AOR now does not mean the file is complete, nor is the file transferred anywhere?
My understanding (and I maybe wrong in assuming so) is that this exercise is just an inventory accounting of unprocessed files with an assurance that none would be returned for lack of documents.
I also don't see any streamlined process for in-process applications. Some get PR early, others are waiting to even get MR.
Couple of days back, on the french FB page saw a post by inland french family of 4 getting PR - applied in March 2019. Don't see a streamlined pattern, unfortunately.
Yes, I remember that. But if i'm not wrong, that person mentioned his kids were born here and are fairly very young. In any case, many november couples are getting MRs and i'm getting impatient. Hopefully some good news by next week!

Yes, you are right about their kids born here.
Hopefully you might receive MR in November. They are clearing up mid-late 2018 files faster now.
All the best.

Good news but doesn't affect QSWP applications especially the inland ones stuck since July 2019.
I finally received MR yesterday after almost 9 months of no update. I’m a november2018 applicant by the way and i just wanna ask how long will it take to receive another update after MR?
Hey everyone, I am in a troubled situation and hoping someone could help. I am on a post graduate work permit currently which expires in August 2021. I have sent in my application for permanent residency in July 2020 so I guess it’s a long journey ahead. Reading online, I am seeing it’s wise if we apply for the extension of work permit 6 months in advance during Covid-19 which would make it February 2021. Now, the problem is that I don’t have an AOR yet and I highly doubt I will have it by February. Is there any way I can apply for extension without having an AOR? Thank you!

As is going around, you may receive a letter from IRCC acknowledging your application soon. You can use this for your A75 application.
People in similar situation as yours have done it with an XEP number also.
You still have fair bit of time, so nothing to worry.
All the best
Applied October 1st 2018
AOR 21 January 2019
MR 30 September 2020
DM 26th October
As you can see it's been a long time from AOR to MR and a short time after MR.
Are you inland or Outland?
Thanks

Good to know, thanks! Let’s hope CIC starts sending out these confirmation letters soon.
Also, I just noticed a remark on my CSQ which says “Traitement prioritaire dans le domaine de formation”.
Does this mean my federal application will be prioritized?

Nope, everyone gets that. Sorry

Yes! It means that you will be a priority pawn in the Quebec govt's tug of war with the federal govt on the issue of QC's control over immigration policy!
PS: Sorry for the bitterness but 14 months of no progress after jumping through all the hoops set up by the Quebec govt will do that to you. But what
@Immstu said is right. All of us have that remark on our CSQs
