You will likely receive your PR before February.It doesn't hurt to apply for BOWP as well, you will receive the $255 refund if you receive your PR before then.

Hey Guys, a Doubt, My Open Work Permit expires on FEB 24/2021, So will be applying for BWOP next week. My AOR is on Sep 22/2020 (CEC Inland). Could someone provide me help with IMM5710 Q3. "I Am applying for one or More of Following?
1. Apply for Work Permit with Same Employer
2. Apply for Work Permit for first time or with a new Employer
3. Restore my status as a worker
4.Get a New TRV

I am confused Between Option 1 to 3? ... If Anyone could help me with this?

3 is for if you crossed ur status valid date and applied to permit in the gross period they will give(90days i guess) then u have to select 3 but as your current status is still valid when u applied u can select option1...

Hi everyone, I applied for my BOWP on July 12th, I know these are massively delayed, but wondering if from your experience if they seem to being approved in any particular order, AOR order etc of if it seems to be just random. Trying to work out how much time I may have left.

I thought you were on open work permit if you are on closed then they will give u closed BOWP i guess so u still have to stick to that company..but make sure fromIRCC agent..im pretty sure the BOWP will have same rules as ur existing PGWP as BOWP is just to provide legal status until ur PR is processing..

In that case you should select option b) apply for a new or with a new Employer. My spouse selected that option when applying even though he has no intent to change employer for now. I have read many trends here that advise to chose option b), since you are applying for BOWP - an open work permit. Actually, even if you select option a), I believe you will be issued a BOWP, so after receiving it you could change employer (I guess).

If you have a BOWP, you can work for ant employer. Not sure what 1 you are referring to .
