Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Since my parents are in Canada on a super visa, I received today an email to submit their passports to Ottawa IRCC office. I noticed that other applicants whom’s parents are in Canada are receiving phone calls for a virtual landing.
What do you think? Should I just submit passports or call IRCC or what?

Thanks for the reply. Do you think I should also inform the LVO (Ankara) via IRCC webform? Not sure if they coordinate the info with CIC in real time.

When you use web form you will be able to choose your visa office to where the information should go.

I received Acknowledgement from London office on Oct 26, 2020 but in my ecas I see two lines. First is about acknowledgement and the other is about processing start date. They are like:

1. We sent xxx correspondence acknowledging receipt of xxx application(s) on October 26, 2020.
2. We started processing xxx application on October 26, 2020

Does everyone gets 1 and 2 message on the same day? Is it by default?

Or in my case they have actually also started to process the file on the same day?

Not really.
You are lucky. I would say they must be caught up with applications.

Hi,

our application was received on June 2019. We got biometrics letter today. My parents are in Canada on visitor visa. Does some one know when we should expect call from Service Canada for appointment? What are the next steps afte Biometric and how long does it take? Appreciate your knowledge share.

We received our biometrics letter the week they cancelled appointments in March and we still have not received a call for biometrics yet. So it's a waiting game.
After biometrics request, the local VO will look at your application and request medicals and PCCs. For our application, this happened 7 months after receiving biometrics request letter. But every VO is different.
Maybe other can share more insight.

As others said you are lucky, London LVO received mine on October 29th,2019 and second line in process date is January 9, 2020. Nothing at all since then. Get ready for months and months of waiting. London has been dead for people still waiting for medicals. They haven't sent anything since late Feburary for meds and police reports.

No, it's not required for Air Canada.

Yours Copy of PR card/ citizenship proof and Birth certificate to show your relationship with them. And a plan for quarantine for 14 days.

I've uploaded the documents for my parents, and can see the "replacement" appeared in the first column on page. However the second column still says "observations required". What should I do with that? Is it for me or for office usage only?

I just read somewhere on canada.ca that we need to submit Certificat de Selection before the government start processing the application but when I applied I remember reading on the form that we will be notified by mail when we need to apply for Certificat de selection.

Should I apply for Certificat de selection?

Please update the tracker (Line #87). Today the PR Application Status changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made". Haven't received any additional information yet but I am hoping very soon. I'm sure many of us here check for updates everyday, for me I check it every morning with my morning coffee, except today I didn't need caffeine to wake up. I'll keep you guys posted, I always look forward to other members posting updates, gives me hope. I like to mention both my parents are on a Super Visa here in Canada for the past 2 years.
