Those who already done biometric for the last 10 years, they are exempted from giving again with their current PR application that are in process.

Service Canada called for biometrics appointment for my father who is principal applicant.But not for my mother. They said they r calling and giving appointments individually and I will receive another call for my mom. I received call on October 20 for my father and booked appointment but nothing hear for mom.
Is there anyone on same boat? How long it takes to get another call for dependent from service canada?

Agree with you and it's good news for many. Even for my self, my parents gave biometric for super visa then they again received instructions to give biometrics for pgp-19 which they followed, but it appears my father's prints not clear, so now I hope they will consider super visa biometric and not ask to redo biometric

IRCC asked for csq, do i need to send originals or just a scanned copy ?

As I am not from QC, I do not know exactly but send a copy unless it is being asked the original specifically.

i have sponsored my parents , and my application date is 19th June 2020.
we have decision made on sponsor side , while applicant side is in process.

My mother wants to come to Canada for some family reasons , while my father can not come at this point in time.
in our sponsorship file my father is the main applicant.
Both of them has Super Visa

Question is , what updates do we need to do to IRCC?
Address change of my mother ? is it possible because my Father is main applicant and he is still in India ?

Please advise if some one is in same situation or have some feedback.

you can update by sending an email or an online query that explains the situation to your visa office.

You cannot update the address as the main applicant is your father. If Father comes then only you can change the address. The application is in the name of your father and mother is dependent.

@robertp @serious_cheese @laxsun police certificate and updated ScheduleA were submitted to IRCC today. Now we wait to receive a call from Service Canada for biometrics appointment.

If they haven't done biometric in the past then they have to wait for VAC to open like many others are doing.
