Called IRCC today and latest update for the application is status " In Process " .

He said background checks are going on .

I haven't yet to receive any finger print request.

And he said they are also not sure when the tests will re-evaluate open.

Let's call them every week to know the status and any plans for expediting our request

Do we receive before the test or after the test ?

But when i get to the if you want to speak to a representative. Then it would say they are not available

What options are you dailing once connected ??
Generally they get connected, wait times will be 15-20 mins

Very broad answer? Do u mean forces? Border services? Police? Cra? I work in public sector and does not require citizenship

I asked for urgent processing through IRCC calgary . They did not respond to the email Usually they respond by sending their generic bla bla . Has anyone requested urgent processing through the local office . Thanks

Not sure if contacting the local office is effective/correct way. Per instructions, they ask to submit the webform.
