Applied May 29 inland without biometrics in Ontario
Eligibility review started today shortly before noon
Approved today afternoon for 3 years until 2023 October!

I was really worried that my application would get rejection because I completed my program practicums (4 months + 8 months) without a co-op work permit. My program coordinator had confirmed with me in the beginning of the program that the international student centre advised that I did not require a co-op work permit for a practicum as it was unpaid, but when I started my PGWP application and I went straight to the international student centre for assistance, they informed me that I did in fact require a co-op work permit and what I did may be considered "unauthorized work". I provided a LOE and a letter from my program stating the number of hours I completed for my practicum. Really fortunate that they are forgiving about my situation!

Aug 18 Approved

Waiting for the paper now.

I have submitted letter when i applied that i got a job offer as a essential worker.
Maybe thats why i got it early i guess?

I sent something at the end of September and it took 2 weeks, but I think that's longer than usual.

Applied May 28th at 1 pm, still waiting. No eligibility review yet, and it says they're still processing my background check and will contact if they need more information.
