BOWP apporved today no email notification just application got updated May 22nd applied and PR waiting for bio call from SC.Yesterday saw GU and if its matter of 1day to process the BOWP immigration is really behind to clear off the lag which took me to wait for 6months..

They should hire more ppl if they feel that they dont have enough staff i mean its not just because of CoVId this lag for PR usually there is long waiting times..I know as i applied for PGWP online application which took 1month to process..

Well anyway atleast they are processing files as i see many ppl recieving COPR lately..
Congrats bro! It is really only one day to process WP's, in the past they took 3 months to reach your PGWP application, and now its just 6 months lol

Tq buddy i mean i assume as i see GU yesterday probably they picked my file and today it got apporved basically for BOWP as long as R10 passed there wont be any issues it is just for having legal status until PR is approved..so usually it wont take much time whereas PGWP they need to verify job details i mean ur degree cert and duration yada.. yada...yada..So it takes times..but all of this is my thought as i dont know what really they have to look into for BOWP

Your eligibility has to have been passed for your BOWP to be approved, which is assessed after the R10 completeness check.

After months of waiting on Implied Status our BOWP was finally approved today! Biometrics appointments seem to be a complete mess at the moment but at least IRCC seem to be processing BOWPs methodically again.

Applied for BOWP on May 24, 2020 - Reviewed on October 14, 2020 - Approved on October 15, 2020

Hang in there!

I guess there is no need of eligibility pass requirement for BOWP to be approved because my eligibility passed back in august..for BOWP only R10 completeness required which is first stage of verifying all the documents required are submitted...As far as i know thats the only requirement for BOWP

When did you apply for your BOWP and when did it get approved?

You passed eligibility in August and your BOWP got approved in October. From what I've seen, it was only after eligibility was passed the BOWP was approved shortly after.
Hahaha buddy if it was approved shortly after why would i see GU on oct 13th and mentioned my eligibilty reviewed on oct 13th for BOWP and final decision made on oct 14th

And do you know why BOWP is given just to continue your PGWP status until ur PR is processed.there are ppl whose eligibility is under review and got BOWP approved.
And before this COVID thing ppl use to get BOWP less than month and for PR file you cant see eligibility pass within a month very few you might have come across may be..

You’re right. BOWP has nothing to do with eligibility being passed.
I applied for BOWP on June 29, and it was approved on sept 4. My eligibility hasn’t even started when it was approved.

Reapplied - First week of October.
BOWP - couple of days before.
PGWP Expiry - December.
Unfortunately, I forgot to add AOR in my BOWP application. What can I expect???????
