I got Copr this friday.
Do i need to apply for new sin number or not because my current sin number ( from my open work permit) is valid till July 2021 ?

I don't believe there's a specific time frame to change over, but your current SIN designates you as a temporary resident, and can limit you in some small ways. Credit cards are a good example. Many of the better ones won't approve you if you're temporary.

Very very soon. May be on the coming Tuesday due to the long weekend.

My friend got DM on 8 oct too.
You will get COPR on tuesday or Wednesday because i got my copr after 2 days of DM

I got DM too on the 8 Oct but no update afterwards, my gckey is still showing application in progress, I didn't get ghost update or anything, just DM on Ecas

My kids medical expired on 22 SEPT, Mine on 3 OCT

on 24th Sept, I got update then account showing ( we don't need your medical)
on 2nd Oct, I got another update but nothing in account been changed
so I am not sure what is the 2nd Update for, maybe medical. maybe security - not sure

I am an inland applicant. I received a letter confirming permanent residence status from etobicoke landing office. In the letter they told me to send the letter along with photographs for PR card application. I have a dependent.

Do We need to send the letter and photographs separately? Or we can send both of our documents togather?

Permanent Residence

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 29, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 8, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on May 7, 2019.
4. We sent you medical instructions on September 10, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received. Got 1st ghost update when medical got expired on 29th sept. Got another ghost update on 7th October. Called them and was told that background check was completed. On 8th October medical was extended and today (10 October) decision is made

On ECAS we are getting MR request or only on GC key as nothing is updating on ECAS only showing in progress?
