Thank you, My AIP was on September 22, 2020. I have submitted the forms & got the information by courier that forms received at London VO.

Hopefully, they start the process soon. But how long it takes generally?

What’s the difference between regular spousal sponsorship and protected person spousal sponsorship

I found in my credit card statement last month , a refund amount from "Citizenship & IMM -Ottawa" for $85.
I already paid the biometrics fees more than 1 year ago with the PR fees. if that is the biometrics fees, i'm worried why they are returning it back to me!!?
Anyone experience the same here?

Usually it takes 6-8 months but considering the covid 19 situation add another 4 months to it i’d say around a year

about police certificate (PCC) it should be past 10 years is that ok or some other requirements

What I meant is that does show in the E-cas that your medical test is accepted NOT "Medical results have been received"?

Yes I understand your question , 48 hours it shows in cic

I saw one case in spousal sponsorship London office. 30 September medical done, 2nd October medical passed Dm made and passport requested

Embassy asked for form 5490 to be filled which is a sponsorship form.
Do I really need to fill it? my dependent was on my pr application already and am not sponsoring them.
