1) call passport customer care 1 800 567 6868 and/or
2) Fill the form https://secure.cic.gc.ca/rs-vd/stat-eng.aspx to get the tracking in email

Because IRCC wants to do things differently!

I thought you needed the Certificate to request the Passport. How come it is the reverse in your timeline?

Correct, but the timeline is not for getting the Citizenship certificate after Oath.
The time indicated above is for return of the citizenship certificate from passport program after the Canadian passport is processed. In my case I have the Canadian passport in hand but yet to receive back my citizenship certificate.

Hey guys - i plan to mail my passport application tomorrow. Im using my driving license as an ID and i realized that my driving license has my middle and third name initials while my citizenship certificate has my first and full middle name and my last name. My first and last name are matching 100%. Will this cause any issue? Did you guys have the same issue by any chance?

Here is my timeline:

- Application Delivered: Sep 09, 2020
- From (location): Montreal, QC

No further communication from passport office since then. Looking at timelines above, I wish I had opted for urgent or express service. My employer needs me in Boston, US office for few days starting October 12. Has one one changed the mail-in regular service to urgent or express recently? I can get air tickets and a letter from employer regarding needs for travel and attach it to web form request.
