I am so excited! Just got AOR, can't be better way to start the day.
Do you think it's worth to email CIC and let them know that I'm okay travelling to Vancouver for the test?
We have family there so it might work even better for me.

Hi guys ,
Wait is over. Today we got our AOR by email. here is my timeline.
Family application ( 2 adult, 1child)
application send- may 4, 2020
application Delivered- May 12, 2020
Received AOR ( Or Application No) - September 23, 2020.
Neither of the photos had a date on them. It was my own fault! I didn't see that it was needed on the guidelines....... I was very disappointed to see it coming back to me for that. But I think it can be easy to overlook even the obvious when you are dealing with the application - thats what I tell myself anyway!
I got AOR today... finally.... soooooo tensed after seeing lot of people getting applications back, so one step is finished next ....test ...then oath......OMG... looks like a looooooonnngggggggg way to go...... I dont know how many months it may take... but anyways all the best guys...
My time line
App Sent: April 23rd 2020
App Received : May 3rd 2020
AOR: Sep 24 2020
TEST: TBD 2020
OATH: TBD
AOR received Sep 22nd for both me and my wife (separate emails).
On a related note, I checked ECAS and it showed "application received", as expected. However, I noticed that while my "home address" was correct, my "mailing address" was an old 7 year address from the US before I moved to Canada. I'm worried I might miss (or already missed) important documents. Anyone know what documents may have been sent via regular mail for this?
Also, I forgot to include names on my and my wife's photos. If I received the AOR, does this mean they accepted those, or does it not mean I am out of the woods yet? thanks all!

Submit address change online. It will get updated in few days itself. I too did the same due to same situation.
After AOR, your application wont return.
