Done with my Oath today. The process was smooth and it took around an hour. There were more than 30 people in the virtual ceremony.
Waiting for citizenship certificates now

Hi all, I've just completed my Virtual Oath Ceremony and now officially a Canadian Citizen.

I had 42 participants and the ceremony lasted 1 hour exactly. We recited the oath in English and French.
I was asked to sign and date the Oath form as well as fill out the top right corner (dob, uci, app no., tel no. and language). Officer confirmed receipt instantaneously. Thank you everyone and now I am just awaiting the certificate.

Yes, she confirmed receipt and said she has approved my citizenship, I’m now a full fledged Canadian Citizen and congrats.

I think the ECAS status may take a day or two to update.

Congrats. It's weird when i did my oath yesterday, the officer only asked me to put my name and two signatures and dates on.

Just got an invite to appear for virtual oath ceremony on 2nd Oct 2020. Location: Calgary.

I think it depends on the officer. I was not asked to fill in the language section.

I asked the officer if they will send confirmation of receiving the forms, she said no. just send and wait for the certificate.

Replied to the Notice to Appear email as it was from the officer directly. She was the same one who checked all my docs on the zoom call.

My officer was really sweet and responsive.

I also completed oath ceremony today and just sent out the signed certificate by replying to email. I got an automatic reply but not from my agent.

My agent only asked me to sign at two places. No more info. And he suggested to add his name in subject line of email which I did.

Did you also get automatic reply or was it specif acknowledgement?

No, I did not get an automatic reply. I sent to the officers work email (not to the generic cic email address).

how did you get officers work email? did the officer gave it you during oath certificate signing?
