The trend seems to be that it takes 6-7 months to get an AOR during this time. If you are past 7 months, highly recommend to contact your MP and reach out to IRCC

Why wait past 7 months. I recommend each of us to have to reach out to our MPs & IRCC after 3 months. Also all who have received AORs should reach out for expediting the starting of Citizenship tests.

Does anyone know if an application is returned, will it have the same tracking number and envelope when sent or will it be sent back through a new envelope and no tracking?

New envelope. No tracking.

I don't think it has anything to do with your courier company

Yes I agree with rafzy. I think it's completely random and based on pure luck as to if and when you receive AOR. There is not first come first serve concept.

Same date and still waiting.. at this time I know it is a privilege and not a right but come on this processing system is horrible.

Many people from January also didnt receive Aor yet. For contact you can call IRCC helpline 8882422100. But before Aor its of no use as the agents wont have your data in their system
