Oh I hope they clear all of this soon. When I applied in 2018, processing time was 13 months. Now I really wish I had taken the EE route. Would be on my way to citizenship now

None of my friends who applied after may 2018 have got their PR yet. I do think if it wasn't for covid, we would have got it by now. However with everything being open now, they should be back to offices I think. Let's hope for the best

I'm stuck at same place since Aug 2019. The reason is deep security check. They send your file to different security agency in order to be sure you are clean. In this cases the standard processing time does not count. It can take up to years but with Covid who knows..

My be your file is stuck because of the virus situation, you never know.

Now it's been 4 years that i am living in Quebec, Canada. Currently I am on work permit, i didn't apply my CSQ yet. I want to know if i want to invite my fiance here in Quebec what are the best options for me to apply for her ? Should I get married first and then apply or I must bring her to Canada and then get married?

They have asked for UAE police certificate lately and I couldn't been able to bring due to corona and their uae online work. I can't request it online since some of information is not available to submit it online. I have send a file with all documents and evidence that I could get to help them issuing it ( like fingerprints, driving license,.. ) ,.. to my friend their that will represent me but they are telling him it can only be issued online. They told him to go to the ministry of interior. But there no one is letting him go inside and keep telling submit online. I have lived there for around 2 years there from 11 years ago. Anyone knows how to get it in these hard times. And if I didn't been able what will happen if I send them an email explaining what happened. This is soo upsetting

Hi - If you were a resident of any "Emirate" other than Dubai, then you have only the "Ministry of Interior website" to obtain the Criminal Certificate from, you also required to have your "National ID, aka Emirates ID " number to access your records, here is the link:

If you were a resident of Dubai, then you can get it from Dubai police portal, i don't think they need the "National ID, aka Emirates ID " number, here is the link:

both sites are good and will get you the certificates in 24 hours.

Hi, please visit this link before attempting to request your Police Certificate from the UAE. Look under the section which says documents needed for those not living in UAE anymore. https://u.ae/en/information-and-services/justice-safety-and-the-law/police-clearance-certificate
You need to obtain the fingerprints document first, have it attested from the UAE embassy in the country you reside then apply for the police certificate. Hope this helps.

E-mail, you will receive couple of e-mails together once they issue the AOR. one will be the AOR letter, another letter with instructions on how to linkn your application with an online account, GC Key, MY CIC and also a letter of fingerprints and biometrics. be patient, enjoy the conversation with us in here and Good luck

My MP contacted IRCC, because I was unable to get any more information.

The inside agency’s are 3 and it were mater of time like 1-2 max but now ... more than 6 months
