My application was submitted in February & march a decision was already made. I had to go in for an interview but it was cancelled because of covid. The agent sent the decision to my lawyer & I was approved. As of now I am doing police clearance & sending copy of passport. It depends on the agent & prayers( if you are religious) Everyone application is different so do not be alarmed if yours is moving slowly
Wait February 2020 Wow! You’re extremely lucky. What was the grounds of your h&C? Plus we’re you a refugee before?Have you been required to do Biometrics?
I want to ask if AIP only comes in email and if the officer needs to speak with me first. Reason is my lawyer actually used her phone number and email address on my application. my application is in process but wondering how the officer could reach me on phone. The application have my mailing address though.

PRRA stands for pre removal risk assessment. So it’s only failed refugees that can apply because they’re at the verge of being deported and PRRA is used to prevent it.if your life is not deemed to be at risk, should they send you back home, your PRRA will be denied.

Hi - PRRA isn't only for people who made a refugee claim as anyone with a removal order can access PRRA after being invited to by the CBSA. It's most common to have a failed claim but not exclusive to that class.
