My application was updated today:

• Medicals passed 21st August
• Received biometrics request letters

My local VFS is currently closed since NZ went into lockdown 10 days ago, which will hopefully be lifted next week.

Does the eligibility review commence if biometrics are still outstanding?

Biometrics submitted 02 September, now to wait...

IRCC requested me to submit IMM5475 as an additional document on 19 Aug 2020 (almost 3 weeks ago). I submitted it within the same day but the Review of Additional Documents section still mentions "August 19, 2020 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."
I am just wondering if IRCC will update this to "Reviewed" after they have finished reviewing the additional document.

Is this a false IP2 status also I have a valid B1 USA so is there a possibility that CIC coordinates with them for bimometrics?

If you are asking if they will use biometrics you gave for your US visa, then the answer is no. You'll still need to give new biometrics for your PR application.

Search the forum and you will see many cases. Biometrics only delays criminality, not eligibility. You will see GCMS notes from other applicants in monthly threads.

I have given biometrics on 1st of September & the biometrics number & dates (expiry, ..etc.) appeared in my profile the same day in applicant information section.
However, my profile home page still shows “your action is required” & inside the profile, the biometrics section still says we need your fingerprints!
So is this normal or should i raise a webform or not ?

Please use full stops/periods for readability.

It is false IP2. CIC coordinates with all federal authorities/databases in US. That will not excuse you from giving biometrics again though.
