Hi everyone; is it possible to apply for changing the close work permit to open work permit? My work permit extension application has recently approved (but changed to close work permit) for another two years, but I just got my GCMS note which shows the eligibility is passed.

Honestly, with the pandemic, IRCC should have some process to allow us to do that. I have a closed work permit but my employer terminated me along with my department and other departments. Now it's so hard to get a new job to sponsor a new work permit for me.
