What is ghost update?
My parents landed in Calgary airport on 3rd March 2020 but haven't received the PR card yet. The status still shows submitted.
Is anyone else is the same position?

Can Some one please help me,We(family of 4 member) received COPR recently ,We need to send photo and COPR for all of us enclosing in single envelope or need to send each family members document in different envelope?

Check the COPR and fill up the details accordingly including upar and lowercase space ect.

You can use a single envelop. Ensure to write the information on back of photos as directed in the letter.

I have the same problem. No update till now, I landed in Calgary also on 3rd March.

No, there was no email.

Ghost update is just a glitch, but it shows that your file is being accessed and worked on.

Here is my time line -

My virtual landing date was - May/04/2020
CIC office: Etobicoke
Documents reached them on - May/13/2020
1st Ghost update - Sep/01/2020
2nd Ghost update - Sep/03/2020 - Application approved - PR card mailed.

"We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive. "

Hoping to receive the card soon..

The photo received by office July 17
Ghost update August 28th
Correspondence letter August 31st
Card approved August 31st

Just called IRCC. Agent said even if I landed on 5 March at Sarnia border, my application was received by IRCC office on 10 July (it was sitting at the border for 4 months). It's been almost 6 months now since I landed and they are still giving the Covid excuse. My application is currently at Sydney NS office. Let's see how much delay they can make... Frustrated..
