I just received nomination from OINP and I am preparing the documents to file paper based PR application. I have a few questions on police clearance certificate -

1. As someone who is already in Canada (currently on PGWP), do you need police clearance certificate from Canada?
2. Is it Ok to submit the PR application without the PCC? On the checklist, it says it is highly recommended to include PCCs with the application. However, to save time, is it ok to send application without the PCCs? What do you guys recommend?
3. How do you apply for PCC for India? How long does it take?

You need Police clearance Certificate from your country, if u were there after age 18. You will attach the original copy. If you are unable to get it now, write a letter to explain why and effort to get it. It means, you will forward it to them later when u recieve AOR.
If you refuse to add a letter explain why it is not included yet, your application maybe return.

My question is can an outland applicant sponsered by province is elligible for upfront medical? If Yes, then only applicant and dependents have to do medical or all members of family mentioned ?

Our timeline is exactly the same.
Even I did my biomatrics on 25th Feb and got PAL on July 29th..
We can go for upfront medical and it has to be for all applicants of the family.

Now my question is that...how we get confirmation from immigration office that they have received our documents?

May be courier DHL will give confirmation that courier is reached but immigration office, Can we confirm it by calling to immigration office or by email etc.?

Its ok that immigration office will issued receipt later but I wish to be confirm that they have received and in process etc...

help me if anyone have idea

Hi, The only way is to track the airwaybill and you will see the X (officer) has received the package and signed, but unfortunately, the AOR is the only official way by IRCC to confirm receiving your package. As I understand your fear, relax everything will be okay just time nothing more. good luck
