My brother (Canadian citizen) is going to marry next year In pakistan, hes afghan and the girl Is afghan too but born and raised in pakistan. He will sponsor her after marriage,
she have identity card and birth certificate.
Does she needs to get taskira from afghanistan for NIKKA CERTIFICATE, She does not have passport either.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

They need to do all ceremonies that are required to consider a marriage complete. They should be aware that applications from Pakistan often take longer than one year. You can look at the sponsorships threads from Afghanistan and Pakistan and you will see that they often have quite long sponsorship process.

Thank you, yes im aware of the processes time, just confuse about the girl is afghani but born in pakistan, so this way shes pakistani, taskira is for afghan people they ask that when creating nikka certificate.

Just do whatever is culturally appropriate for the person not the country where they are living. CIC is aware that there is still a large number of people from Afghanistan who remain in Pakistan. Sounds like she needs as taskira.
