Deputy Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration, Mr. Dagenais
=================================================
We want to expose a flagrant mistake by the Deputy Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration, Mr. Dagenais, during an answer to a question posed by Andrés Fontecilla in committee yesterday.
⏱⏱⏱ Mr. Dagenais claims that the processing times of a family reunion CSQ are 62 days and that a waiting period of 7 months would be a special case. This is not true, according to the MIFI website, the department is currently processing applications received in January. So 7 months is the norm and not a special case, according to their own data.
Mr. Dagenais invites people with ′′ special ′′ cases, who have waited for more than 7 months, to contact the Ministry. Therefore accept Deputy Minister Dagenais's invitation and contact the Department if your waiting times exceed 7 months.
