I am planning for a Masters from Canada but my spouse has an active Express Entry Profile with myself included. Does this scenario increase my Visa Refusal chances for Masters as being considered as Dual Intent? Please suggest. Thanks

I am FSW outland applicant AOR Jan 7...I haven't had any update since May when i was asked to send family information form and that was the last time i heard from IRCC. i have sent three web forms for the update but didn't get any acknowledgement or response. ordered GCMS notes but it would take at least take a month before i receive them. in your opinion what is current status of my application?

Typically, one of the most Important aspects of Study Visa is that IRCC Processing Officer must be convinced the applicant will honor the vital condition of departing Canada at end of Study.... from personal experience, I had an ongoing Study Visa application in 2017, then heard about Express Entry and immediately I created an Express Entry profile, my Study Permit application was rejected same day probably because they my new EE profile. The only reason in the rejection letter was that IRCC is not convinced I would leave Canada at the end of Study...

Anyone whohas applied from India (AOR in January) and has not recieved any updates yet? My last update was back in Feb 10 when I passed the medical exam. I raised a webform recently and I got the reply saying the PR is still in processing. They havn't given any details on the step by step status of the process like they have provided for other people in this thread.
