Stage 2 is medical and biometrics po as far as I know. Yun din po ang narinig ko sa mga webinars. I'll take the risk po. Agency said that critical docs are under stage 1 approval.

Hi everyone!
I am planning to apply for study permit next year. I am thinking of going the regular stream route. Do I really need a sponsor? Can’t I just show my bank statements as proof? I cannot find anyone in the immediate family who can sponsor me. I have a friend in Canada who is willing to sponsor but I’ve read somewhere that the relationship could be questionable.
Anyone here whose application was approved via regular stream not needing a sponsor?

I dont think a sponsor is required if you can provide for everything that you need. Just make sure you have enough funds. or more better. I have read some funds are amounting to 8M pesos...

I personally do not think so if you presented strong ties such as properties and assets.

sa choice of program mo sya hindi satisfied. Try to change it sa mas may sense the program. Perhaps Global Business Management since may 17 experience ka na sa writing.. you should be aiming for executive position na and this program can help you. Think of other program pa that can help you in career progression. Research ka.

then maybe try to apply for yourself muna to demonstrate much stronger ties. You can always apply for them is approved ka na. Although I think less consideration ni VO na hometies sila kasi nakasama mo na sila sa applications before. Pero hometies po pa din + assets like properties.

Hello po. I received my first-stage approval two hours ago. Applied last March 13, 2020, SDS but lacking biometrics. I plan na ituloy din ang online classes pero may takot din na ma deny sa stage 2. Hehe.

Thank you po sa reply. Actually before nito, Business-Marketing sa Seneca yung program na inapplyan ko. Pero nirefuse pa rin po ako.

Sorry to hear that po... pero sa akin po ha... eh kasi po parang sobrang lapit na ng marketing sa ginagawa nyo po as web content writer..although u may say po na magkaiba sya, halos pareho lang yun nagsusulat kayo as part ng marketing strategy, SEO.. So for me po ulet, wala syang progression ng career masyado kasi na-touch nyo na yun baka nga po mas experienced pa kayo kesa sa aaralin nyo kasi extensive na years of experience nyo.. pwede po siguro if na-align mo ung writing mo sa pRoject management for product development instead na sinusulat nyo lang yung about services or developed products/strategy... mas challenging if product creation department kayo... or yun po International Business Management for High/executive Managerial position.

agree. Lalo na po if working kayo matagal na and/or with family.. you should be financially independent para mas strong ung case. You could either purchase GIC din kahit regular stream.. or basta supported yung money nyo ng payslip; income from your business and bank statement.
