I opted for email and received as PDF via email. It helps to understand if the application is stuck on extra review. You can also view the notes added by the visa officer. There is no hard and fast rule to order it, some people order it after 2 months to check if everything is in order. Some people order it after 6 months timeline.

yes, It took 4 days to receive correspondence letter. Got approval on 5th day.
