It starts after 3-4 months from MEDs date but they don't write it here. Only found after all is finalized.

i heard meds are extended for 1 more year at a time.

1--2 months but some cases they hold it for many months as I read.

Don't bother. As they 1. won't reply easily 2. if they reply it will be a standard format

Any email you send, garners the same reply: "Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only. We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website."

I'm hoping things will start moving once the VAC opens up. But I think that is at the discretion of the local government (India) and not Canada.
Delhi has started opening up, so hopefully things will start moving soon.

In the past I read 1 case; it was on hold due to BGC for over 6 months They found all thru an MP. They did not give any reason why?

Hmm. Can my agent find out the status? B/c when I asked Abt my application he contacted the ircc and they said that my application was sent to ndvo and that he should talk to them. Then my agent told me to contact them. Obviously that doesn't help b/c no1 responds

I just hope so. B/c it seems there's little to no progress in anybody's application except 2 applicants who got pre arrival letters which is unacceptable. Like what are they doing for so many months. In canada, the agents are working from home. The amount of backlogs they'll have to clear is making me cringe.

Yes that's true
