an april 2019 applicant from pakistan got additional doc request ( schedule A ) as i saw on a fb group .. so there is hope

MINE SAYS THE SAME THING I DONT UNDERSTAND. We started processing your application on july 20,2020. Does this mean all this time my file was not touched by them ?

" Started Processing on your application" means, now they have started work on it.
Before that at preliminary stage, what they usually do, once they receive any application, they just check, all the required information and all required FORMS are provided, all info and forms are completed.
Once they say " Application Received, it means, all required info received and they don't need further info at this point and your file put in Que to wait to start work on it.
Now it says, "Started Processing" It means, they have now started work on it.
Now Immigration Officer who is dealing your case, will decide, like interview needed or not, or if he or she feels, No we should have to ask these info too then will let you, but in most cases, they don't ask.
I believe, BioMetric and Medical already been done before start working on your application.
Let's hope and InshaAllah you should have a request to send passport.
Since this pandemic so you might have to wait until these uncertain things not cleared, like I and too many others are still waiting from last 6 months even our status also confirmed " Started Processing "

Hi. Have London Visa Office & CPC Sydney-Nova Scotia office started working now after COVID-19 for spousal sponsorship applications for Outland couples? Also, any idea when will VFS Global (VAC) in Pakistan will start working again now for biometrics? I know that IOM Pakistan is working again on medical exams for applicants.

Usually 4 to 6 months but the timelines are also messed up due to covid so let’s hope they get us through quicker as I m sure IRCC will have a huge backlog also to clear

Has anybody applied for a temporary resident visa TRV? My AOR2 is Jan23 2020 but i haven't heard anything since then. I was now thinking to apply for a TRV. Any suggestions?

They started processing my husbands application February 27th, 2020 but nothing after that was updated..... so its taking quite some time... its so hard to be patient at this point.
