Even though I have Aip still my application shows in process It will be in process up to when we get our PR what our lawyer said been in process it means they’re working on your application you will heard soon an answer Hopefully you get positive answer

Not everyone on H&C are failed refugees.It don’t matter how far he’s been in Canada,whether or not the treatment is available in his home country.The most important thing is he got approved.Period point blank.Why should all that information be made public to complete strangers.Just Congratulate him and move on

@Mja297528 - from your story it looks like it took approx 2 months between the first time it changed to In process and the decision. I suspect this is approximately what we can expect. But I am glad to at least see things are moving for h&c cases given the situation.

It depends on the officer. Mine changed to in process and got AIP in few days.

Hi guys my application changed to in process on June 23rd 2020 which was 9months after application received.I called IRCC call center today and was told my file has been moved to Toronto.Can anyone explain what this means?

Not necessarily.My cousin had a really complicated file.And the whole H & C took a year and four months.There’s also someone in a different forum who said his application took 9 months.And that was in normal circumstance.
Now, given that we’re in a global pandemic,that will take much longer.The officer assigned to your file will completely play a big part.
