Not sure. I received it a couple of days ago but didn't find it till today. I saw a post saying they found it in the spam. I checked and found it.

Last GCMS showed eligibility passed, criminality in progress, security not started.

Hello guys, i raised webform few days back amd got this reply... I’ve applied under FSW inland aor 27 nov VO montreal..it seems my eligibility needs review...what should i do.. raised gcms notes ?? Do i need to worry..can anyone plz plz suggest... it already almost 7 months...


The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

o you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

· The eligibility review has is in progress.

· The security background verifications have not been initiated.

· The criminal background verifications have not been initiated.

· The medical examination results on file are valid.

I'm FSW-O, AOR 22 Nov, and last week they responded to my webform saying eligibility was still in progress, and security wasn't initiated, so we are in similar situations. It's frustrating, but I'm hoping they'll figure things out re: COVID delays, and that processing speed will increase.

You can call them and enquire if its under review or review required. Or, better order notes to get a clear picture. Since it is 7 months now, I would suggest to order one.

I am not sure how the WP will be invalid, you need to get authorisation for travelling by submitting your documents to IRCC.

With a valid work permit and an authorisation email to board a plane to Canada how your work permit will be invalid, also COPR needs your action to send a photo when you are in Canada so technically you are not in possession, this is my understanding though ...

if you are in India and have a work permit and travel visa then you can return booking Vande Bharat flights. However, if you wait to receive COPR and you do receive it, then your work permit and travel visa becomes invalid. So again after COPR you have to apply for PRTD to travel.

On my CoPR it says 'If you leave Canada' without a permanent resident card, you will have to apply for a permanent resident travel document through a visa office. Otherwise, you will not be able to board a commercial vehicle(plane,train,bus or boat) to come back to Canada.' So my understanding is the border will let you in, but you will have difficulties to travel on a plane.
