Why you need to submit biometric. My PR application picked automatically the one i submitted for my work permit two years ago. I hope it will use the same for my new extension as well

I arrived to Canada as a tourist before all of the biometrics requirements
I got my open work permit, Nomination from BC and applied before biometrics were available in Canada.
Now because my work permit expires in July (Because of my passport) I need to extend and submit biometrics.

some ppl enter Canada before do biometrics, and get or extend a WP that didn't need a biometrics because there's no biometrics on the service canada before last winter.
but this time, the Gov ask biometics because now they can collect in Canada

I have 18weeks left on my timeline passed medical 9months ago.

12th Dec 2020 I will complete 18 months and 29 th Dec medical will be expired. At this point I am left with security only. So may I expect something in coming few months??? What do you think guys???

They are giving priority to EE candidates. There are very very rare cases where PNP paper based applicant got approval after march 15. It's raining of COPR for EE applicants now.

One of my known got COPR , she applied in Feb2019 as paper based PNP. She got it by the end of may 2020.
