January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hello, is there anyone you know, who received their BOWP amidst this lockdown, without submitting the biometrics. My PGWP expires in July 2020. I applied for BOWP (with AOR) on March 2020 but all the biometrics collection centres are closed ever since. Just curious to know if they're issuing work permits without expecting biometrics.

it doesn't matter at the moment. just apply as long as you have your application in before july. the CIC are aware of those things. they don't mind you being on implied status until your biometrics can be taken. just make sure you have your application in before the current expires

AOR=16/01/2020
Biometric done =18/01/2020
PAL=13/02/2020
Current status processing application 27%.

Mr kamal you r lucky.83 % you got ppr. We r also 83 % but nothing .only gc key increasing %. And less in months. Now showing 15 weeks.

My lawyer is against it but i'm tired of waiting lol..
Thinking of doing upfront medicals if i will not receive request by the end of June.
Anything special i need to do or prepare something?

It was a BOWP..

Oh, I see. Sorry to hear that. If your nomination is employer specific, you can't apply for BOWP. You should have applied for closed work permit instead.
