Student Permit Approval from UAE

no updates .but i received gcms notes last week from which i got information that my interview is recommended and file is in Edmonton .and embassies are close so no way for interview thats why my cic account is not updated yet.once embassies will open i will be called for interview my file last date in which it was touched shows 16th march.
any ways applications are suspended till 9th June.

I didn't know that we can order GCMS notes prior the decision. Also didn't know that we may be requested to do interview. Most the people I know got it without one. This is positive thing to your application, right?
Kindly could you please advice on how to request GCMS notes and how long does it take to get it?

I am from India but currently working and applied SP from Qatar, and my visa processing office in UAE again the same situation here, did not get any update since I submitted my file on 11th March, had to defer my admission to Sept from May 2020.

Have you guys updated the new LOA to the UAE office?

My application was for the fall semester from the beginning, so didn't need to send any update

You can inform them via web form. There is a function of attaching a file. I did send that way the payment receipt of first semester tuition fee.

yes i sent new LOA to abu Dhabi embassy through webform .3 weeks before but no answer from them too.

my nephew is Canadian national he applies .u can apply gcms notes any time.there are also some websites who can apply for you

I sent another webform but no answer at all. I am not sure if Canadian Embassy in Dubai or Abu Dhabi have opened or not yet.

No update for my Application, but I remember talking to my agent and that she saying that she had raised an enquiry and that the embassy had responded by saying that my application was in queue for review. It might have been for other applicants with the same agent, but I am not sure if it was for my application or not.

Since an Interview is required, I am not sure if the Normal processing times will apply for you.
From where did you get the information that application processing is suspended till 9th June?

IRCC web site .did you not know ? before it was 19th march and 20th it extended to 9th june .

Until June 9, 2020, there will be a suspension in the processing of some applications, and the application process has changed for

• visitor visas (including transit visas)
• eTAs
• study permits
• work permits

It says application process has changed, not suspended.

Visa processing has been suspended for non-essential travel (ie. Visitor visa for Tourism etc.)

Application Process has changed means that Offline applications will not be accepted as VAC's are closed, extended time for submitting biometrics as compared to the usual 30 days, extended time for submitting essential documents etc.
