I'm in US and I used TextNow, I called 3 times in total and had to wait 30 mins when it finally got connected.

I'm in India. Called via Canadian TextNow number. I keep engaged with Robot until I input my application number..........when I press 0 to transfer my call to an agent, the robot conveys its freaking inability to transfer the call!

Ok, Try 2-1-1-0 on prompt regardless what area yu file in then it might get connected.

ya I guess...2- status;1-permanent residence; 1- again status; 0- transfer call to agent......but then it hangs up. I will try at 8:57 am EST as you suggested. I would not mind waiting time at all if I will get to talk to an agent eventually.

Final decision - May 20, 2020:Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.

The document status is updated with - Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)

But I don't see any document attachment / email from cic !!

any idea whats going on ?

Not sure. file was jumping between etobicoke office and niagara falls office in GCMS notes. While call few months ago. they told me that visa office is Niagarafalls.

Good to know. Is it a general process (sending copr via mail) or you requested while on call with cic agent?

I got a phone call today from a blocked number. When I answered the caller identify himself and that he is calling from Ircc. I said okay. He told the reason he is calling and that because people cant come to their office so the call is to formalize my landing. He proceeded to ask a few question:
1. Have been convicted anywhere in the world
2. Have been denied entry by border agents
3. If my kids and wife are currently in my address in vancouver
4. If one of my kids who is a US citizen is living with me in Canada
5. My last entry date
6. The date of birth of my kids and my spouse
I answered the question as honestly as I can. He then said I have become a PR and that email will be sent to me from now on till Monday and the email will give instructions about other details. He said if I am not sure i should call call center agent to verify. The conversation ended and he said congratulations for being a PR.
