My application status for PR application is still "application received" , whereas for the other candidates this status is "in progress". Can someone please advise, what should i do next ?

I did called the cic in Mississauga and I got the response that they Cannot give me any timeline but good news Was that they are saying that though limited staff a limited capacity they're still open and working

only affect 2020 if your child is born 2020 but if your child is born in 2019, it will then affect 2019

Will IRCC re-assess a case that is in DM status for Principle applicantion because there is a newborn in 2020? If so, it is going to delay the process even longer on top of the impact of COVID19.

Can you please tell me how to connect to the cic mississuaga if i need to talk to them?
I called them but cannot go beyond the machine .
there is no option to talk to the operator .

They can complete their landing seperately but Principal Applicant has to land first.
