Fellow Indian citizens: Flight ban continues till 31 May as per MHA order No. 40-3/2020/DM-I (A) dated 17th May 2020.

The Central govt has extended the lockdown to May 31 and has prohibited all domestic and international air travel of passengers throughout the country in this extension period.

I think Indians with CoPRs/PRVs expiring in first-to-second week of June can now confidently raise that extension request.

What's your visa office? I don't think you need anything else to do apart from raising a web form explaining your inability or unwillingness to travel.

Yes by looking at Canada High Commission updates on FB it seems that they are also not aware when International flights will resume.

My CoPR expired on 31st March.... i filled a webform around 24th March and naother one after expiry , i.e. on 1st April....

Dears I informed IRCC that our country border closed and I could not travel to Canada. My visa expire on July. if the borders opens may I travel? Will they cancel my visa till July,? I am worried that IRCC will open my file and change the status to in process from approved. Please share your opinion

Under Vandebharat mission I managed to reach London Heathrow via Air India.
Now from here my next flight is after 17hours and that is of Air Canada.
Those who want to use this connection can first hold Air Canada flight London Toronto on their website then book Air India flight Del London.
I have been to Heathrow before several times but this time it looks totally different...
No Lounge.... No recliners.... No cafe... No store... No shop....
Heathrow staff is very supportive....

Yes you need to get 2 separate tickets.
1. India to London - from Air India
2. London to Canada - from Air Canada

*But make sure that your layover time at London airport is less than 24 hours. In that case, you won't require a transit visa.
While boarding the flight from India, you can tell Air India staff that you have an onward flight, they will tag your luggage till Canada and will give you both the boarding passes, so you can remain on the airside in London and won't require any visa.
