So since our medicals have expired a month ago, does cic email us a new med request before PPR? Also, can a visitor visa be extended an additional 6 months on top of the 12 months I already got?

Why should we have to get chest X-rayed every year just because IRCC can't process application in under 12mos ???

in fact, this is a general recommendation in healthcare (to do x-rays once a year), in my country. Considering that Ukraine have big problem with tuberculosis, I am sure that this recommendation is similar for ukranian too.

my husband’s application is still in process (obviously covid aint helping anyone) and we’re towards the end (fingers crossed!!!)
In this time, since I’m the canadian one - would it matter if I changed my last name now? Or should I wait until he gets here? Would it make a difference or any conflict on his paperwork/process?
