Study Permit Extension Delay (September 2019)

Quick question guys, I got approval on 28th, any idea when I should expect the permit to be delivered? I searched around the forum and most people say 5 days but my guess is that due to COVID19 it's significantly slower?

Not really slower, I got approved on 29th and received on May 4th, only 2 business days in between. I live in Alberta so I suppose it's faster coming from Edmonton but you should get it within the normal timeframe.

Applied - Feb - 24 - 2020
Study Permit expired on - March - 31 - 2020
biometrics not required.
Correspondence Letter - may - 7 -2020
Final Decision - may - 7 -2020

Hi there , i applied on 22nd November without biometrics for Study Permit extension . Today my account had an update . It shows 'You have passes medical exam on May 7,2020'
Anyone else got this update ?

My eligibility review started earlier today, expecting a decision tomorrow or Monday sometime. Bit of a good news I guess. Like @ssandhuuuu I applied on the 22nd of November.

Friend who applied around February 25th got his biometrics validity email on Monday and approved yesterday night.

Interesting, did you just submit a medical or was it the one you had initially?

My update occured around 9am eastern. I just happened to check within minutes of them updating even though I didn't get an email.

As it should be..Unless you filled the questionnaire incorrectly.

You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

and today it shows you have passed medical exam .
