Hi,

I am under AINP-Alberta Opportunity Stream Program and right now I was done with a medical exam last October 2019 and waiting for passport request. However, my employer terminated my contract last April 13, 2020, due to a food safety issue. I worked with them for 1 year and 8 mos. My work permit will expire this August 2020. So I still have 4 mos prior to its expiration.

My question is, does it affect my PR application despite the fact I am almost done with my PR application? If yes, what are the consequences and what should I do to save my application and to go back to the application process from the start?

Yeah i received Provincial nomination March 27 2019 and received filing case # around May 2019...my application is at Federal level now and waiting for passport request after I’ve done with medical last October 2019..

16 days for me. But that was in 2019.
