After raising a web form with IRCC below is what I received -

• The background verifications are currently valid.

Does this mean I might hear something soon?

It took 3 days for me. I raised a request this week on Monday and got a response today morning.

Hello guys,
Below are the details of my application.

AOR: 24th December 2019
MEP: 15th January 2020
Biometrics: 23rd January 2020

I raised a web form on 27th February and got a reply on 2nd March stating that eligibility is being checked, background check has not been started and the application is being processed at Montreal. There has been no update on the profile since 23rd January.

I have heard that the Montreal VO is relatively slower than other offices. Is it true?

Look like my file has not advanced for a while.
